News broke today courtesy of The Wrap that the highly anticipated Power Rangers reboot series is coming to Disney+.
It was announced that Hasbro would produce the series and Disney+ would serve as the platform to stream the series, similar to how ‘Doctor Who’ streams on Disney+ as well.
Percy Jackson & The Olympians Showrunners Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz are currently in talks to be the showrunners of the new series.
This comes on the heels of the news around Christmas that Paramount was interested in making a Power Rangers live action movie and possibly an animated series. It appears those talks between Hasbro and Paramount broke down so much that Hasbro decided they could produce the series on their own, and use Disney as a platform to distribute it.
