This movie is an absolute treat and I had a lot of fun watching this.
The movie stars Stranger Things actor Caleb McLaughlin as Will Harris, a young goat who dreams to play Pro Ball for his hometown city.
I was surprised to see the supporting cast having some big names like Gabrielle Union, Aaron Pierre, Nick Kroll, & Stranger Things alum David Harbour.
Of course this movie has been heavily marketed as Steph Curry’s movie and he happens to voice the tallest character in the movie, a giraffe named Lenny.
Now this movie is about a small GOAT overcoming adversity by gaining respect in a league full of Bigs, sound familiar?
What this movie does well is keep you entertained with a solid script, exciting visuals, and an almost claymation unique CGI animation style that I was very impressed to see.
My only drawback is some of the voice acting is a little phoned in but Caleb McLaughlin, Nick Kroll, and especially David Harbour make up for it.
Great movie and I’m glad I saw it in theaters, especially with some of the unique visuals of the crazy basketball courts. Definitely a great movie to take the family to see or just to see a movie that will make you leave the theater in a good mood.
