As a lifelong Spider-Man fan, especially durning the animated series days when I dashed off the bus after school to catch the latest episode. It’s always an exciting time when there is something new from Spiderman world coming. And of course when August 1st came, the official/unofficial day marked as Spiderman Day, strategically timed marketing came out from Sony showing us teasers of the highly anticipated new movie Spiderman: Brand New Day.
The short clip gives just mere glimpses of the details of the Spider-Man suit, the biggest stand out point is the raised webbing, something we’ve only seen in the Tobey McGuire era of movies. If I may add still the best looking of all the movie suits, sorry Andrew and Tom. And further examination we can see the appearance of honeycomb weave style fabric, which brings for better moisture-wicking, durability, and breathability making it an excellent choice of material for a our hero to wear on the ready for when the spidey-sense is tingling.
Now Sony didn’t stop there, the next day we get a reveal similar to the style of the all day cast announcement of Avengers:Dooms Day with doors opening in the distance and as the light broke more. We see a figure in the distance revealing it to be Tom Holland in the Spider-Man suit doing a bouncing boxer style warm up move. Before turning around and coming closer to the screen and stating “we ready?”. The answer is yes, yes we are,
